So I've been having a slight (major) sweet tooth lately and I think it's affecting how I dress. This skirt is yet another purchase from work (Lulus.com) and it's so comfy. I'm a sucker for slits and this skirt is seriously perfection. So damn comfy and y'all should know by now I am a creature of comfort.

So once upon a time I decided to do laundry aaaand I happened to throw in two new red shirts into the mix and about an hour later I was shocked to find that my load of laundry had mysteriously turned pink.  Thus the birth of that pink tank you see me wearing.  I originally bought it white from h&m two years ago on sale for 5 dolla dolla billzzzz. And have mostly been wearing it to sleep or to do cleaning around the house but it's new hue gave it a new life and new place in my wardrobe. Those sunglasses were once upon a time even with the flowers but a few fell off to be lost forever and ever and so I balanced it out with dots of gold nail polish and now I totally adore them. This is one of the rare days I'm not wearing anything vintage or thrifted but I have to confess, I'm totally digging the vibes. Some days I just want to feel like a girl, you know? Weird way to put it but hey, whatever.

On another note, I'm getting used to living out in the country and have decided I can stick this out for a year before returning to my city roots. Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday and a fab memorial day weekend!

Days are progressing, spring days are soon to be rolling into summer days and I'm terribly homesick for the bay.  I'm really enjoying my time out here and I'm planning on staying longer since getting my job (which I completely adore) but I can't stop thinking about how I was supposed to go back to the bay for August.  So bittersweet. I've been having dreams about SF and I wake up aching for it. So strange, but I intend to be back in the bay in a year. I wish my job could just move with me. Oh well, such is life.  On another note, I've been cleaning/ organizing a ton and getting ready to move into a new place soon. (Hopefully) so I'm super stoked on that. And I get a three day weekend, whooohooooooo!!!! Okay, enough excitement, hope everyone has been having lovely days and I'm not even sure if anyone reads this but if someone happens to be reading this I hope you have the most fabulous weekend ever and I'm sending all the positive vibes I can muster your way.

Going to start this off with an apology, it's been a quick minute since I last posted but to my defense, my laptop charger decided to spontaneously combust. I have a few posts lined up but I'm starting off with my new fav dress and my first purchase at my job. Yayyy!!!!

I can't even begin to describe how freaking comfy this dress is and I'm so completely obsessed with the slits up the sides. Such a gorgeous dress and uber flattering, perfect for daytime and night time depending on how you style it. I was out for a casual night just kicking it with some friends so I styled it with a pop of neon and some creepers. 

Anyways, off to bed I go, I feel like such an adult with a full time job and I go nutty if I don't get my full 8 hours (which at this point I definitely will not) so tooooodaloo and sweet dreams!

streaming sleep

Keeping this short and simple since I'm just moments away from crashing. Such a struggle to stay awake through work today but I made it through and now I'm about to experience a glorious night of rest. Wore this on a casual date to the park and to get froyo (frozen yogurt) <- felt like I needed to clarify that, most of my friends call it froyo but since I've moved to Chico no one seems to get what I'm trying to say when I say froyo instead of frozen yogurt. I'm rambling because I'm sleepy so off to dream land I go, goodnight lovelies <3

One of my main sources of inspirations (and driving force of my life) is my loved ones. Thought it'd be nice to make occasional posts dedicated to my lovelies that not only inspire me to look my best but to be by best. D'awww I'm so cheesy~

I'm starting this off with one of my absolute favorite humans in the world, Alexander Fucking Ghanma. The most gorgeous man on this planet. We're both from the bay and both spent one year of fashion school together totally inseparable. From going into Saks, Zara, Neiman Marcus and basically every store in SF and browsing EVERY garment and accessory to our constant slumber parties, lounging with chai teas watching Will & Grace to attending fashion events or thrifting in the Mission to partying in our hometown and our late night drives to Lana Del Rey. We were on top of the world.

This last picture encompasses Alix beautifully. Smoking that Capri, vacuuming and cleaning his studio EVERY SINGLE DAY. Perf housewife. That studio was his (and basically my) home.
Anyways, this is Alix, fashion idol, glamorous, bad boy. Everyone's obsessed with him (especially me). He's the type of guy you can walk around shopping with, hands filled with (designer) shopping bags and start spinning/walking with our arms out with the bags as if we owned the shopping mall (or ballerina princesses...)
ANYWAYS, felt the need to share and spread the love, I have a few more people in mind that I want to feature soon.
